2 Corinthians 3:19 “We all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
Spring is doing its thing… the rain is falling and the ground is sprouting new growth. Yesterday the tulips were just tiny little buds and today they are open and beautiful and filled with #allthecolors. Day by day we see the earth beholding the new season and becoming beautiful.
We are no different. We are people who reflect the glory of the Lord. Each day we get new opportunities to behold the truth of our Creator and transform the landscape of our world through worship and obedience.
For our “Everyday Worship” study, we’ll dig into our Inspire Bible and study passages that will help us look at our daily life, schedules, responsibilities through a lens of worship. What does real everyday worship look like and how can we truly honor Him as we are growing in this season?
We’ll use Ruth Chou Simons book “Beholding and Becoming” as a reference. We won’t read the whole thing or even plan our weeks around certain chapters, but I’ll be using it as a reference for quotes, beautiful imagery, and as a general thread through the whole study.
